The Norman Masonson Music Scholarship Fund

The Norman Masonson Music Scholarship Fund was established though a bequest in Mr. Masonson’s trust. Former conductor of the Santa Cruz Symphony and founding director of the Santa Cruz Youth Symphony, Mr. Masonson held a variety of teaching positions at College of Marin during the last 25 years of his life. This scholarship is awarded to a student string player studying in the COM music program and who has a minimum of a 2.0 grade-point average.
